What Do Villages Do?
Villages are volunteer-driven, inclusive organizations built around community needs. Just as each neighborhood has its own character, no two Villages are exactly alike. They all adapt to what Village members and volunteers envision.
Villages can connect older adults with local, county, state, and federal resources that make aging in community easier.
Volunteers often provide transportation, run errands, and assist with small repairs and tasks at members’ homes, including tech support.
Villages frequently organize educational and social events and activities for older adults and others in their community.
