Prince George’s County Village Connection is holding a series of meetings to help build interest in forming more Villages in our county. A Village is a volunteer-driven, inclusive organization built around community needs and focused on providing social activities and practical supports for people as they age in their community. Just as each neighborhood has its own character, no two Villages are exactly alike. They all adapt to what Village members and volunteers envision.
These sessions will cover what Villages do, how they are organized, and what you can do to help establish a Village in your community. You do not need to live in the area where the session is being held to participate or attend.
